MH-C808M New features exclusive to the MH-C808M Battery Charger

This charger is rapid. In fact, it has the fastest recharging time for C and D for chargers in its class. A close competition, the Ansmann Energy 16, charges at 1.0A which can take up to 11 hours to fully charge a D rechargeable battery. On the other hand, it will take the MH-C808M only around 5 hours.
We can truly say this is the first "true rapid charger" for today's high capacity C and D rechargeable batteries. Thanks to its Powerex Precision Microprocessor battery temperature is kept low even at the faster charging rate.
The MH-C808M also has a ultra-bright WHITE LED BACKLIGHT for easy viewing of the LCD display..
The MH-C808M battery charger is cool. Due to the larger size and good ventilation design, rechargeable batteries barely get warm in the charger, thereby extending life of your rechargeable batteries.

Eight Independent Charging Circuits

Charges any combination of 1 to 8 rechargeable batteries. Mix and charge AA / AAA / C / or D rechargeable batteries all at the same time
Charges all current AA / AAA / C or D size batteries regardless of capacity, and even higher mAh batteries of the future.
Normal Charge time of about 1 hr regardless of the number of AA / AAA or 2 to 5 hrs for C and D rechargeable batteries with the Maha MH-C808M charger.
Soft charge mode recharges in about 2hrs regardless of the number of AA or AAA batteries.

The MH-C808M battery charger is rugged.

Most of the other universal chargers on the market use "springs" to accomadate various battery sizes. The MH-C808M charger uses fixed contacts (at higher cost, of course ). However, in return there's no moving parts and no springs that will become fatigued or fall out after extended use.
