intelligent battery charger
 Unlike most other "dumb fast chargers", you can finally safely rapid charge your AA, AAA, C, and D Nickel Metal Hydride and NiCD rechargeable batteries regardless of capacity! The microprocessor checks the voltage (-V and +V ), and terminates the charging process and then switches to trickle charge automatically. With the MW-5798 PRO's intelligent microprocessor design, your batteries will be at their peak performance at all times. The AT-5798 PRO charger uses a pulse charging technique, which will provide a PWM constant pulse current during the various charging stages. Charge time varies with the size, capacity, and charge state of the batteries when put into the charger. Plus you can simultaneously charge two 9V NiMH or NiCD batteries - Yes at the same time. (9V batteries are charged at 13mA with manual control)

battery conditioning
 The added conditioning capability of the MW-5798 PRO will help maintain your batteries best performance automatically each time your batteries are charged. User intervention is not required for standard conditioning, since this is automatically cycles each time any batteries are charged in either the right or left bank. Another great feature of the AT-5798 PRO charger is its built-in discharge and deep conditioning function to ensure all your batteries work at their optimal conditions. This feature was designed mostly for rechargeable batteries such as NiCD batteries which often require a discharge/deep conditioning cycle before charging in order to break the memory effect that NiCD batteries often exhibit and help rejuvenate your batteries to their best performance. This built in discharge/deep conditioning function can be activated at any time simply with the push of the discharge button and operates on the left bank. ( Left Side ).

dual charging circuits
The intelligent MW-5798 PRO features two independent banks, able to perform different functions simultaneously. This means you can charge two unique sets of two batteries. You can put two NiMH AA in one bank and two NiCD AAA in the other bank or even two C or D size batteries, all automatically. Plus you can charge two 9V batteries at the same time. IT'S LIKE HAVING THREE CHARGERS in ONE!
